Deadly Little Secrets is a very intense book and will fill you with suspense. The book is about a normal girl named, Camelia who has everything she could ever ask for, but not until she meets... Ben. Ben saves her life when Camelia was about to get an accident, but then Ben touches Camelia on the stomach, but Camelia believes that Ben's touch wasn't ordinary. 4 months pass and Camelia cannot forget about Ben. But that's when Ben moves to her school and Camelia falls in love with him..Camelia hears rumors that Ben murdered his ex- girlfriend, but she tries to convince herself its not true. Throughout the book, Laurie Storlaz puts this anonymous person writing dairy entries all about how he loved Camelia and wants to be with her forever. The dairy entries in the book actually sounds like Ben. Ben and Camelia are assigned as lab partners, but Ben tries to avoid her. In one of her classes Ben grips her hands and says he has physometry ( is when someone can sense the future by touching another person.) Ben says Camelia is deep danger and wants to help her. Brainwashed by the rumors, Camelia does not trust Ben anymore instead she goes to her ex-boyfriend and her friend (Matt) and askes for help. Matt is pleased to help her. Camelia begins to get weird phone calls, and finds inappropriate language smeared on her mirror with lipstick, and get threatning messages. Camelia still loves Ben ,and thinks that Ben is behind all this prank. Matt shows up and says Ben is injured and Camelia is horrified and goes with Matt. It all turns up that Matt was the one who lied and wrote the dairy entries and was still deeply in love with Camelia and send those threatning messages...not Ben, but Ben is also innocent he never killed his girlfriend. With his physometry powers he sensed that Julia ( his GF) was the one who cheated on him and gripped her when they went cliff hiking, but she got so scared, Julia lost her balance and fell off the cliff. Matt kidnapps Camelia and drugs her, at one point Camelia escapes and Matt catches her, but Ben found Camelia and beats up Matt and Matt got arrested.
At the end, it was heart breaking. Ben decides to leave to Boston and says that he cannot be with Camelia because she didn't trust him and leaves...Camelia.
